Description:
Remington Model 12C – 24-inch octagon barrel chambered for .22 short, long, long rifle. Matching serial number 729999 outside on the receiver and inside on the guard would indicate firearm was manufactured in 1928. Lyman # 2 – ¾ inch dish rear sight mounted on the guard, Lyman # 17A Globe with 14 inserts on front sight. Blank filler on rear sight. Stock and forearm are in excellent condition with only light handling marks from normal use. No cracks or large gouges. Firearm retains the majority of original bluing with no rust, pitting or scratches. Bore is bright and shiny with visible rifling, no corrosion or pitting. Firearm was tested fired and functioned as it should. Smooth action and takedown tight. Firearm was very well taken care of by previous owner / owners and is an extremely high-quality Model 12C. Postal Money Order / Certified Check only. Buyer pays fixed amount of $45.00 for shipping and insurance (Alaska / Hawaii extra). Signed FFL or C&R required with firearm shipped to that address.
