I do not know what period of time these Buck knife cases were used.Though I do remember seeing them on counters in stores in the 1970,s.This case has a removable tray of 1 " X 12 " X 17 " . With loose cloth going over cut outs for various Buck pocket and hunting knives.It would be a neat case for a buck knive collector,but really useful for any knive collector.On the outside the case measures 18 " W X 13 1/2 " D and 7 " H at Back ,which slopes to 3 " in front.One end is very nice and other end and lower front has some scratches and mars.This is really a clean case compared to some I have seen on the internt The wood especially which cn ae ceaned up and light sratches touched up.The Buck name.
