Smith - Corona Model 1903A3
A very early production 03 in Beautiful Original Condition. Hard to find variant. Produced in February of 1943 it has the early distinct traits.
The Barrel is dated 2-43 and has six lands and groves not the more common four. The bore is bright.
The stock has the earlier brass brads not the later reinforcing bolts. The stock is properly cartouched and has the correct inspection stamps. The stock finish is original.
The rifle is a mix of blued and parkerized parts.
The only thing that is not on the rifle is the front sight hood.
It also has an unmarked kaki sling.
