This is the real deal, folks: an Inland Div. M1A1 (paratrooper's model) Carbine that was produced in 8/'44. The carbine is all correct for the serial number range. I can't attest to it being original to the stock because I don't know the history; it was originally picked up at a gun shop in Panama City, FL many years ago. It's very difficult and expensive to find an M1A1 with provenance proving it's as it left the factory. I didn't take bolt or trigger housing apart, but all internals are Inland. I have a tremendous amount of detailed photos that I'd be happy to provide to anyone who's serious about its purchase. Includes original sling and oiler. Does have a small hairline crack towards the back of the stock that was armory repaired via pinning. Real M1A1s like this one are becoming increasingly hard to find and are fetching some serious dough; I feel as though what I'm asking for it is very fair and thus I'm FIRM on the price.
