The Remington Model 51 pistol was manufactured from 1918 to 1926. It was and is well-liked for its elegant styling and slim easy to carry frame. The 380 ACP pistol with its 8 shot capacity (7 in magazine and 1 in chamber) was a powerful concealed carry pistol of its day. The 3.25"" barrel has an excellent bore. The gun retains approx. 96% blue. The right side of the frame above the trigger has the script Remington TRADE MARK stamping. The magazine is correctly marked 380 CAL. The checkered plastic grips, with the REMINGTON UMC logo at the top, are excellent. The action functions correctly. This is a great example of one of the best U.S. pocket pistols of its era.
