#481161, Winchester 38-55 WCF Model 1894 Deluxe Takedown Rifle, Made in 1909, Brian M. Dudley from Spencerport, N. Y. Installed a 1/2 Round 1/2 Octagon 38-55 Barrel That Now is New, The original octagon barrel was chambered to a 32 Winchester Special and it comes with the gun, 26" 1/2 Round 1/2 Octagon barrel, The bore is as new, The tang peep sight is a Marble's "Flexible Rear Sight" that has their forward sliding lock to retain it in either a raised or lowered position, The front sight is a Lyman fold-up combination sight with a globe and post, Takedown magazine, Very nice Deluxe wood with excellent color and contrast, Very solid wood that will go another lifetime, Original WRAC grip cap, 13 3/8" LOP over the original WRAC buttplate, 7 lbs. 7 oz., The barrel blue on this new Dudley barrel is at 100%, The bore is as new, The original receiver blue remains at 35% with a nice patina, The stock was refinished by Dudley and now at 98% with oil added, He re-cut the checkering and it remains now at 100%, Identical legends were accurately stamped on this new barrel which simulates the markings on the original barrel (Well Done), The original 32 Special octagon barrel is 26" and the bore condition is good. The original blue on this original 32 Special barrel remains at 80%.
