S O L D ..........LAYAWAY?..............m1860 Spencer ...Civil War Carbine ..... .56 caliber. 22" barrel length. SN: 68646 (Serial number matches barrel also). Lever-action carbine with adjustable rear tangent and front brass blade sights. Shows a blued finish with casehardened receiver and walnut furniture. Top of receiver shows a strong mark reading "SPENCER REPEATING/RIFLE CO. BOSTON MASS./PAT'D MARCH 6. 1860".
Condition:Spencer M-1860 Civil War Carbine in .56 RF. Parts look are original. The butt stock has been lightly cleaned. The gun has an old refinish. It looks like an old cold-blue. Visible frame markings. There are patches of fine pits on the barrel and frame. Moderate bumps and dings on the fore-stock. The bore is in much better shape than the rest of the gun. Bright, shiny, crisply and crisply rifled. Fine condition bore. Functional mechanics.
Wood furniture shows expected handling wear. Action is nice.
