.....CP .50RF Government. 20" barrel with three groove rifling secured by a single barrel band. SN: 28390. Blued and color casehardened finish, iron furniture, smooth walnut stock and forend. Standard Burnside Rifle Company markings and Model/1865 on top of receiver. Two script cartouches at reverse wrist that are partially legible. Equipped with Stabler cut-off. Retains correct 1865 pattern folding ladder rear sight and original front sight. Sling bar has been removed from the mounting plate and no longer present. Retains correct magazine follower tube that is missing the spring and follower.
