EXTREMELY RARE TARGET .32-20 HAND EJECTOR MODEL OF 1905- 3RD CHANGE. These were made from 1909-1915 from serial numbers 45201-65700. This example is in the 47XXX range and was probably made in the first full year of production 1909/1910. Only 20,499 of this model were manufactured and of this only a very small number were target versions with adjustable sights. Very fine condition overall with about all the blue remaining and only some thinning and ageing to brown on the back strap, butt. and some light thinning on the left side of the barrel. All very clear and sharp markings including the address and patent dates on the barrel top- last patent date '06, and a sharp S&W logo on the right side of the frame. Matching numbers on the butt, cylinder and barrel. Excellent bright bore. The front face of the cylinder still shows fine blue indicating that this revolver was not shot a great deal. The diamond checkered walnut grips are excellent and have the deep dish brass S&W medallions. Fine case colors on the hammer sides with wispy light faded color on the trigger. Left side of the barrel is marked "32 WINCHESTER CTG" A super scarce 112 year old S&W in great condition.
