A factory letter accompanies this rare and sought after .357 Registered Magnum confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on October 23, 1935 to the Union Hardware & Metal Company in Los Angeles, California. The gun is equipped with a 6” barrel, Patridge front sight blade, original S&W grip adapter and the numbers matching checkered walnut silver medallion service grips. Overall the gun retains close to 99% of the original bright blue finish showing only the faintest of collector type handling evidence. Note the low three digit registration number and early grip configuration! A top shelf .357 Magnum that will have a special place in any group of investment grade revolvers!!
