Just in from a relative of the original owner, this Marlin Model 336 in .30-30 caliber was a special ordered rifle for a relative of Frank Kenna, the acting president of Marlin at the time of manufacture (1970). Rifle has a gold trigger and forearm band, and a XXX grade of American Walnut stock and forend - unlike any you will find on a 336. Rifle is in overall excellent original condition, blue and wood, and with a perfect bore and chamber. Rifle has Curio & Relic status since it is over 50 years old. If you are a Marlin officianado don't let this one get away.....
