EARLY WW2 GERMAN MAUSER WERKE BORSIGWALDE K98K S/243 8X57MM INFANTRY RIFLE DATED 1936. Original period parts with matching barrel and receiver serial numbers. Stock and handguard not numbered but matching. Bolt and bands and rear sight original but not matching. Excellent Nazi Ordnance stamps on stock as well as receiver and barrel. Receiver stamped “S/243” and date stamped “1936”. Very good overall with most of the post war arsenal Parkerizing. Some rust and pitting about buttplate but atleast not replaced with aftermarket parts. Working order and good bore. This is the earliest date known to be stamped on K98's. Import marked "CAO..." at muzzle end(hence the parkerized finish). All waffenamts still visible.
