Find once again, consigned from one of our favorite clients an exquisite Max Gobbi engraved Perazzi MX20 complete with an extraordinary high grade custom walnut stock set. The internal lock work is gold plated for extended service, corrosion prevention and reduced friction ensuring crisp release of the hammers. The shotguns 32” barrels are factory fix choked Modified and Improved Modified and features a 6mm solid rib that is straight from breech to muzzle. A nice, hammered gold inlay adorns the breech end of the barrel. The wood set on this Perazzi MX20 was personally selected for its strength and figure by our client. He then had it cut extra long at 16” with 1 3/8” drop at the comb 2 1/8” drop at the heel. With a right-handed cast of 3/8” at heel and 5/8” at toe. The stock is capped with a rubber recoil pad with stock bolt access hole. But the best is yet to come. Our client had an engraved skeletonized pistol grip cap installed which truly compliments the pierced top lever. Now let us visit Mr. Gobbi’s metal canvas. As you can see this gun has side-plates and Mr. Gobbi has attended to them fully and with great detail. This is what I call, a high relief floral scroll pattern with vines. Mr. Gobbi carries this work forward to the fore-end latch and then back to the trigger guard and the backstrap or spine of the receiver. Now here is an interesting detail. Please take a moment and examine the safety lever/barrel selector. Note where the typical mundane button should be the shooter will find a well-executed flower in full bloom. Hopefully your clays will burst open as distinctively and completely as this flower.
