PRE WW1 WWI & WW2 COLT U.S. 1911 .45ACP PISTOL WITH MAG POUCH & EXTRA MAGS, CIRCA 1913. Serial number "2274X" which puts it in the Pershing Punitive Expedition range and possible Apache Indian Scout period of time. Hard to find these early 1911 pre Great War pistols. 1911-A1 slide with original parkerizing. Still has some pre-A1 features although Augusta Arsenal correct stamp by 'Unites States Property" on left frame. Crisp "M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" on right of slide. WW2 GI period plastic grips with correct "K" in star under flats. All original finish and crips markings. Black L-F Co. (1951)dbl mag pouch with two steel aftermarket mags came with.
