For Sale- S&W model 17-5,6inch blue,22lr,6 shot square butt,recessed cylinders,perfect timing lockup.no pitting or rust.Gun features target sights,target hammer,trigger.I rate this revolver metal,98% wood checkered S&W grips.there is slight blue wear near tip of muzzle on both sides from holster wear,see pics. nothing in the way of blems.I believe this gun was rarely ever fired because the bore has no rust,dark spots,no pitting,it is mint with strong rifling.gun comes with matching numbered factory box,papers.the model 17-5 S&W 22lr target revolver is one of THE best,most accurate,durable,reliable 22lr revolvers ever made.I like the older smith pre lock revolvers made of carbon steel not polymer.They will last several lifetimes,at least.
