First issued in 1873, the "Trapdoor" Springfield rifle served with American forces all the way up to the Spanish-American War. This example, manufactured in 1884, is in very good condition with an excellent, shiny bore. Whether an admirer or a shooter, this will make a fine addition to your collection. .45-70 Government
