U.S. Model 1819 .54 caliber flintlock pistol by Simeon North with a lock plate dated 1821. Pistol has the ""been there look"" and has been reconverted back into its original configuration. Metal is a grey patina with surface oxidation noted throughout. Wood shows heavy usage and handling wear with a repaired crack noted on the right side above the trigger guard. Faint cartouche is visible on the left side.
