Rare Model 1875 Lee vertical rifle made at Springfield Armory with a total production of 143. The Model 1875 was invented by James Paris Lee who would be credited for patenting the detachable box magazine. Rifle is in excellent condition and is chambered in 45-70. Action functions correctly. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. This is one of the rarest martial rifles to own!
