U.S. Model 1895 Winchester Lee Navy straight pull rifle chambered in 6mm Lee Navy. Rifle is in overall good condition. Metal has a grey patina with surface oxidation noted. Rifle is navy marked with serial number 8332. This Spanish American war rifle is one number off the batch recovered from the U.S.S Maine that was in Havana Harbor, Cuba. Action functions correctly. Bore is good with strong rifling noted. Wood is good with handling marks, a crack is also noted on the forearm. Sling swivels and front sight hood are also still present. A great Spanish American War era rifle!
