#035 Dale Tate 28 Ga SLE 2 barrel set.
Made in 2008 on a new AYA round action barreled action by Dale Tate a British trained gunmaker. Tubes are 28” , bores are .550” , with chokes on #1 at .015” and .022” Mod and Full , on #2 ; .007” and .013” Imp Cyl and Mod. Both barrels are respectively numbered in gold in the ribs at the breech. Both have brazed ribs, flat and hand stippled, like new inside and with a couple light scuffs on the blacking at 98%. Double trigger with articulated front, 7 pins locks with interceptors, auto safety, bushed strikers, rolled edge trigger guard. 80% fine scroll engraving coverage by British engraver Charles Lee, case color hardening by Doug Turnbull. Mechanically and cosmetically in 98+% condition. Exhibition grade walnut stock done by Dennis Earl Smith in Oregon. LOP is 14 ¾” over a checkered butt with engraved and case colored hell and toe plates. Drop is 1 ½” and 2 1/8”, cast off ¼”. Semi beaver tail forend , with Anson push button release. Wood is hand rub oil finished with point pattern 27 lines per inch checkering with the absolutely faintest handing marks . The gun weighs 6 Lbs. 4 Oz and balances at the very front of the action. One of a kind made by talented craftsmen and priced well below replacement!
