This book is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, There are No Dog-Ears, Missing Pages or Stains almost Like New except for the Dust-Jacket that has some wrinkles & a small tear to the left of the authors name I Show in the Last Picture NO-Biggie !... This is the most definitive reference on the subject of Colt’s history and models of manufacture. A used hard cover book with large pages measuring 8-7/8” x 12”. Contains 608 pages of highly-detailed information on the Colt models, pistols, rifles, and carbines, percussion and cartridge. Almost every page includes high-quality color or black & white photographs of guns, accessories, and other interesting information. For most models, this book provides year of manufacture vs. serial numbers. It breaks down each model to note major design changes during the years of production. The known calibers of each model are provided, along with other details that represent many hours of research of the original Colt factory records. Printed using high-quality glossy paper. Includes a nice original glossy dust jacket with one torn place internally tape-repaired. Binding and pages like new. Inside cover has prior owner’s name. This is the 1993 printing of the first edition, by Blue Book Publications, Minneapolis, MN.
