U.S. Model 1842 Harpers Ferry .69 caliber musket in overall good condition. Metal has been cleaned with pin-prick pitting noted on the surface. Wood has been lightly sanded with minor handling wear. Lock plate is dated 1845. This places this musket as a prime candidate for the Mexican-American War! Comes with standard issue bayonet.
