Hammerguns - James Purdey 20g. Bar-in-wood hammer double. This gun is as the Brit’s say “ rare as rocking horse shit†and for many the mecca of fine English hammer guns and in 20g! Steel 28†mono-blocked barrels in excellent condition and in current 2 ½â€ nitro proof. Chokes are Full left and Mod right. The stock dimensions are very modern and will fit many. LOP with a new leather covered best pad installed would be up to 14 ¾â€. Weighted between the hands and weighing in at only 5 lbs. 5 ounces this petite Purdey handles exactly as you would expect, like a magic wand.
