WINCHESTER 1885 LOW WALL HUNTER RIMFIRE IN 17 HMR WITH OCTAGON BARREL. Comes with original box, gun never fired. One would have to search for some time to find another 1885 in HMR. Winchester's famous 1885 falling block steel action with high gloss polished blue metal; drilled and tapped for scope. 24" octagon barrel with 1-9" twist and polished chamber. Black Walnut stock and forearm with 22LPI checkering, Pachmayr Decelerator rubber buttpad and satin finish. Serial number00050ZV85A. A timeless benchmark for accuracy. Hailed as "the most reliable, strongest, and altogether best single shot rifle every produced", the 1885 rifle set a new standard for accuracy in its time. The 1885 still produces superb accuracy in a classic style. The rifle has never been fired and includes the original box. Add $50 for shipping and $50 for shipping insurance.
