Description:
Last of the US Military single shot pistols following the 1842 Aston. Uses the center fire, Benet primed .50 caliber cartridge in the reliable Remington rolling block action. Excellent action is as new on this one. Fine rifled bore with scattered pittting, faded blue hammer, block and trigger with dark blue/brown barrel finish. Modeled case color frame with some color and no pitting anywhere. Screws are excellent. Cartouche on left grip. Have box of 10 Frankford arsenal cartridges for this gun.
