U.S. Springfield Model 1863 Type I .58 caliber civil war era rifles musket. Metal has a smooth light brown patina. Wood is in good condition with cartouche visible. Lock plate is dated 1863. Comes with US marked bayonet, nipple cover and tool. Ram-rod is not the correct type. Overall a great looking civil war musket.
