U.S. Springfield Model 1795 Type III .69 caliber flintlock musket. Metal is in the bright mottled surface oxidation noted. Lock plate is dated 1810 and the butt-plate is marked 1810 as well. rear sling swivel has broken off, Wood is in overall good condition with a 3 1/2"" crack observed above the rear barrel band spring. Action functions correctly and is tight in the full cocked position.
