Civil War contract Model 1861 rifled musket by C.D. Schubarth. Musket has been cleaned and polished back to its armory bright finish, smooth pin-prick pitting is noted throughout. Wood is good with a small repair rear of the forearm cap and two handsome cartouches are visible. Lock is dated 1863. Action functions correctly.
