Description:
Parker-Hale was a gun manufacturing plant in Birmingham England founded in 1890 and continuing until 1991 when it was sold to Navy Arms. The Company then built a plant in West Virginia to manufacture the guns called Gibbs Rifle Company Inc. This Safari Model remains in very good overall condition showing only use and wear from age! Wood is solid and has only light scratches and dings. Rosewood forend cap has lost original inletted diamond. Blue is excellent, but barrel has turned a plum color. Butt pad has cracked and deteriorated with age. Bore is excellent! Gun has original hooded Post & Bead front sight with folding notch rear. Controlled Round Feed action. Gun is complete with a Weaver V9 scope in Weaver rings and mounts, and period sling. Very nice gun! No box. .30-06 Springfield
