Description:
The Smith & Wesson K-38 Combat Masterpiece, Model 15 was produced from 1949 to 1999. It was discontinued until 2011 when it was re-released under the Classics Revolver Line. The 2" barreled variant was produced between 1964 and 1988 the -4 is the 4th engineering change that occurred in 1977 and, the 5th change happened in 1982. That puts the manufacture of this revolver between 1977 and 1982 .38 S&W Special
