Description:
Colt 1911 in .45 ACP. The 1911 is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, recoil-operated pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. Designed by John Browning, it served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. This pistol has a High Standard barrel. The term "Black army" is referring to the rough, crude appearance to the blue finish of Colt M1911 pistols made during and immediately after World War I; those made and shipped between May 1918 and March 1919. .45 ACP
