Description:
Serial #1849090, 22 Short, 6 3/4" tapered barrel with an excellent bore and integral stabilizer. This is the Hi-Standard ISU Olympic pistol in the 104 series featuring integral muzzle brake and two removable barrel weights. This lovely Model 104 Olympic remains in excellent condition with about 99% original blue and anodized finishes showing limited high edge wear, and handling marks. The grooved target trigger retains bold case-hardened colors as does the magazine catch. The grips are unmarked replacements that appear to be Herrett National Target stocks with adjustable palm rest and thumb rest. The grips rate about good to very good with scattered handling marks, dents, and dings. This pistol features a Patridge front sight on a base, slide mounted adjustable rear sight, serrated front strap, manual safety and it includes a pair of large and small barrel weights. The barrel has been drilled and tapped with four holes for mounting a weaver style optics base which is included in a separate bag with mounting screws. This pistol includes a single factory 22 Short magazine with factory extended steel base that has been modified to ease use with the grips. The back of the extended floorplate has been relieved to make it easier to get at the magazine catch with the extended grip panels and a synthetic extension was added to that to make it easier to remove and insert the magazine. The receiver top has four screws for a scope mount. A great little Olympic ready for the range or the start of a great High Standard collection.
