This is a beautiful all-original and very lightly-used Smith & Wesson Model 657 Mountain Gun in the very neat .41 Remington Magnum caliber. This S&W Mountain Gun is totally un-modified and 100% original and comes complete with it's original box with factory end label intact (serial-numbered to this gun), the owner's manual, some assorted factory pamphlets, anti-rust shipping paper, and the factory provided trigger lock. This is a pre-internal lock gun, manufactured in 1999. It is just as clean on the inside as it is on the exterior, and the mechanics are in 100% PERFECT working order. The stainless steel is clean and bright, all of the factory markings are crisp and clear, the bore and chambers of the cylinder are perfect, and the original grips are in like-new condition. The action on this Smith is smooth, slick, and perfectly in-time no matter how fast or slow you work it, single-action or double-action. All of the controls are in perfect working order including the rear sight adjustments that appear untouched with perfect slots in the screws. This S&W Mountain Gun is one of S&W's more sought-after models and has become quite the investment over the last 10 years or so. If you have been looking for an investment quality example for your collection here is your chance to get one of the cleanest .41 Magnum versions we have had in a long time, and it is as complete as they get with the original box and everything inside the box.
