We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. This is a nice, early example of the famed Mini-14. Overall condition is excellent. There is some minor wear on the bottom of the stock, but everything else is as it should be. The action operates very smoothly. The bore is in excellent condition with no rust or pitting. There is no flash hider which is commonly found on newer models. According to the Ruger , this Mini-14 left the factory in 1983. The Mini-14 has always been a popular rifle, particularly for ranch duty, but also for hunting varmints. It makes an excellent alternative to the popular AR-15 rifle in this regard. This example comes with the standard, flush-fit 5-round magazine. Many other magazine sizes exist for the Mini-14, including 20-,30-, and 40-round magazines. The side mount is made by B-Square. The scope is the Burris 3-9x “Mini” Model. It should be noted, that the Mini-14 uses a 1:9” rifled twist for stabilizing 55-gr bullets for use against varmints and other small game, hence its popularity as a varmint hunting rifle. It is not intended to be used with heavy bullets. Overall with the scope and the option for larger magazine sizes, this rifle would serve the hunter and rancher both quite well.
