Description:
German built 20 gauge "Daly Special" by J.P.Sauer. Built in 1928,this gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked improved cylinder (.008") and modified (.015") with 23/4" chambers. The blued scalloped receiver has deeply engraved fences and sideclips to the action. The receiver,trigger guard, and breeches are outlined in gold wire inlay. The rib is inlaid "Daly Special" in gold. The trigger guard tang is engraved "A.H. Heinen Chicago". It has a single selective trigger,ejctors,and 28 line checkering. This is a very high quality shotgun and a model I have never seen before.I am not sure if this was a regular Sauer model or a special run for Daly or another American distributor. Either way this will make a great upland bird gun or a vintager clays gun. C&R eliglble.
