Description:
A custom built 20 gauge boxlock ejector built on a 1928 J.P.Sauer barreled action. This gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked improved cylinder (.008") and modified (.015"). The scalloped receiver has deep floral engraved fences and sideclips to the action. The blued receiver,trigger guard,and barrel breeches are outlined in gold wire inlays. The barrels have mint bores and the barrels are on face and lock up tightly with no play. The stock and forend are nicely figured walnut with 28 line fine checkering and checkered side panels. The rib is marked "Daly Special" in gold and the trigger guard tang is engraved "A.H.Heinen Chicago".The trigger is a single selective trigger similar to those found on Parkers. The water table and forend iron are engine turned and the barrel flats are high polished. This is a beautiful little gun that would make a fine all around upland bird gun or a fun clays gun. Priced at less than half of what it would cost to build it today. C&R eligible.
