26" tapered round barrel with "Chrome Bore". Lightly figured walnut (or mesquite?) stock with rosewood forend tip and pistol grip cap, classic point-pattern checkering, Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, swivel studs, and maker's brown rubber recoil pad. FN Mauser action with Mauser 98-type bolt release and sliding tangside safety. Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x40 scope with fine duplex reticle on Redfield mounts. Pull: 13 5/8". Weight: 9lbs, 7oz. Built 1953. 99%+blue and virtually unused.
