***SOLD*** Quite possibly one of the rarest and most beautiful Model 70s you will ever lay eyes on. Class 4 Special Order non standard chambering CARBINE in 25-35 W.C.F. As if that were not enough, it has a breathtaking piece of factory wood which has flame grain showing throughout the buttstock. This is not a restock, so was presumably also special ordered. S/N 60*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1947, but of 100% Pre War components including clover leaf shaped receiver tang, matted and UNDRILLED rear receiver, rust bluing, etc. The chamber breech is FLAT to accommodate this rimmed cartridge. 20" carbine barrel has minty bore, perfect: stampings, ramp transitions, stippling, crown etc. Overall condition is better than 99%. This incredible firearm is surely destined to be the centerpiece of even the most advanced M70 carbine collection. Shipping from Alaska is $75 via Priority Mail with full insurance in a custom cut foam lined box for maximum protection.
