Description:
William Greener was the founder of WW Greener and this gun was hand made by him in the early 1850's. Highly engraved with scroll and game scenes. Rebated locks with high sloping hammers that are non-rebounding. Mirror bores. Highly figured wood. Sharp checkering. Original barrel brown. Top rib is engraved - "William Greener - London - Laminated Steel Indestructable by Gunpowder". Barrels are 28 1/2" in length. Right bore measures .739 while left is .738. Cylinder chokes in both barrels. Minimum wall thickness is 28/1000. Chambers as original at 2 1/2". Fully functional. Serial number of 5516. As an antique this gun can be shipped directly as local allows. Shipping is $50.
