SOLD SOLD SOLD !!!!!!! Colt Walker; yes it's a real Walker and it is in pretty good condition , all things considered. It is "D"Company No. 53. It has been fitted with a after market barrel and rammer but it does have the rear portion of the original barrel. A lot of these big guns got cut for a "belly"gun during the California gold rush, this being one of them. The gun is in presentable condition and shows well with the after market barrel in place, and not very handsome with the original barrel attatched.There is no remaining cylinder scene and light pitting on the frame.The brass is excellent and the wood has no cracks or gouges, only the corner wear. The gun functions properly and indexes well. This is a good honest and affordable representative of an original Colt Walker, a piece that most Colt collections are lacking because of price.
