US&S – 1911-A1 – 45ACP. - Stk #C310
This Union Switch and Signal 1911A1 45 ACP mfg. in 1943 is a rare pistol with only 55,000 of them being made, second only to the Singer 500 1911’s. This pistol has a 5” barrel that is in excellent condition with clean sharp rifling. It still has the original factory Parkerized finish with military style iron sights. This pistols still has the original Keyes single line checkered grips and screws. The original main spring housing is textured that has a lanyard loop. This Pistol also comes with the original magazine that is stamped with the letters C-R. There is some faint handling and holster marks, along with sliding wear on the magazine. Overall condition is Excellent. Overall length is 8-3/4”. Weight is 2.5lbs.
