Description:
SALE PENDING....LAYAWAY?....69 caliber, 42" round barrel. Top of the breech dated 1862, early Civil War dated conversion.... The percussion bolster marked "H&P". Rear of lockplate marked "Springfield" and dated 1826, under bolster marked with Eagle and US. Rifled barrel with three lands and grooves. Three leaf rear barrel sight with three barrel bands and walnut stock. All of the parts have military subinspector initials.
**This musket is in excellent condition retaining most of the arsenal bright polish. Stock is excellent with nice untouched open grain wood and excellent cartouche. S/H $55.... **2nd firearm ships FREE with this one!.... .Thanks, Greg #278-284, 286-287
