Description:
Here is a beautiful 1960 manufactured Browning Auto-5 12 gauge. This Auto-5 features a 26" barrel, fixed improved cylinder choke, checkered round-knob walnut stock set, factory scroll engraving, and added sling swivels. This Auto-5 retains 98% of its original blue finish with the only deductions being extremely light high-edge wear and faint freckling on the receiver. The round-knob stock set is in excellent overall condition and shows no signs of cracks or repairs. Both the stock and forend do show extremely light signs of handling and a minuscule amount of finish chipping along the edges of the wood. The original factory buttplate is in equally as excellent condition and is free from any cracks but does show signs of a couple of beetle holes. All the factory markings and engravings are crisp and more than visible. The action functions flawlessly as well as all the factory controls. The bore is exceptionally clean with a mirror-bright finish and no signs of pitting or corrosion. Both the bolt and carrier assembly are in beautiful condition with the smallest amount of cycling wear. This 1960 vintage Auto-5 would make an exceptional addition to any collection.
