MADE IN BELGIUM COMMERCIAL FN MAUSER 98 RIFLE ACTION CIRCA 1950'S-60'S. Serial numbered behind lug with four digit s/n along with other Belgian Liege proofs along "ST". Receiver in the white except where wood line would begin with bluing. I believe the owner was about to engrave it as have a few other unfinished FN Mauser actions in mid project so that’s why missing the blue. Barrels threads crisp and ready for new rifle build. Blue steel triggerguard with "ML" and "3" stamped on it. Hinged floorplate housing follower and spring(needs to be fitted) nicely blued. In the white bolt with matching belgian proofs "L" and "circled/ 2" is matching to receiver with tight lockup. No trigger but some of the other receivers we have include "Finland" stamped triggers so only the best materials were used by this old gunsmith who was in mid project before he went to the big gunshow in the sky.
