SHARPS U.S. MODEL 1868 .50-70 GOVT. CAL. LINE THROWING GUN. 28” o/a with 12” barrel. All original. Very good overall with original blue on barrel and traces of case colors on frame. Stock and forend with worn original finish. Working order and very good bore. Used by U. S. Coast Guard in the post-Civil War to Spanish-American War era.
