Cased Target - Germanic Half Stock Pistol Set - .38 Cal – Made By G F Stomer – Stk# P-33-77

These Original - Cased .38 caliber Germanic half stock target style pistols have tapered 13/16" to 3/4" x 9" octagon rifled barrels that are fitted with an adjustable rear sights and color case hardened blade front sights. Inscribed on the top flat is G F Stormer Herzberg AH in gold wash. Both the breech plug and breech of the barrel are embellished with 5 gold and 1 silver bands plus a gold arrow at the muzzle. Both barrels are mirror finish with deep rifling. The P+ grade checkered European Walnut stocks with a carved Schnabel are fitted with steel furniture including an inlaid butt cap; all of which have retained the gray patina finish. The back action percussion locks with an outside safety, are very tastefully engraved and checkered, as is the trigger guard, breech plug, butt cap and tang.  Each pistol’s butt cap is dated 1891 with serial numbers 2210 and 2211 respectively. On the engraved trigger guard, they are numbered 1 and 2 respectively with intertwined initials MS on the bow. These pistols are housed in the original oak green velvet lined presentation case with the following accouterments: a screw driver, bullet mold - .370 dia, 96gr, nipple wrench and the sight adjustment key.
