Description:
Marked on the breech bolt is "Pigeon Gun". Gun is beautifully engraved with typical scene of 3 gentlemen and a dog shooting live pigeons over a trap ground. There is a rose engraved on the top of the receiver and a pigeon just behind the hammer. On the opposite side of the receiver is more game scenes. It is theorized that John Uhlrich engraved all of these. I don't know if that is true but it is quite possible. A very nice gun with a 30" plain matted rib bbl marked full choke. Orig fancy deluxe checkered wood is in very nice condition with sharp checkering and measures 13-1/2" to the end of a red recoil pad. Gun is overall very nice with 90% blue starting to tone slightly on the high points of the receiver. A few bad storage marks on the barrel. Other than that it is a pretty nice gun.
