Description:
This is a Forehand Model 1895 made on Martin Bye’s Pat. It is a grade 01E with automatic ejectors. It has 30” fine Damascus barrels bored full & modified. It is in antique very fine condition original in every way. The action is clean and retains 85% original case colors. The stock has the original Forehand HRBP with a turkey on it. The original oil finished stock has good checkering on the left side, but the right has loss due to abrasion. The splinter fore-end has a repaired crack. Weight is about 7lb 5oz. DC is 2”, DH is 3” and LOP is 13 ¾”. All in all a very nice example of a very hard to find collectable gun. Forehand Double barrels guns are one of the most obscure makers of quality shotguns.
