Description:
Winchester model 1895 Lever rifle Manufactured about 1915. Serial 74xxx. Chambered in 30-06 (stamped .30 U.S.MOD 1906.) Gun has 24" barrel nickel steel barrel. Gun has been re-blued, and refinished at some time in its life. Refinish was professionally done with sharp lettering and stamping. Original crescent buttplate , and inlayed forearm tip.. Gun has been carried and used showing some wear on magazine box, top of barrel in front of receiver, and tang. Not an original collectible, but a great shooter, and nice example of the 1895.
