Description:
***SOLD*** Pristine example of this exceedingly scarce caliber with an added twist to its rarity. Aside from being one of the rarest M70 calibers there is, this rifle is in impecable condition showing better than 99% original finishes, and is a transition era gun made for only about a 3 year period, with its unique "clam shell" aka "rabbit's foot" safety. Additionally, it has a 1933 barrel which retains the original and beautiful rust blue, AND has a very scarce stock with a Pre War style clover leaf tang and a Post War style swept grip! VERY few rifles were made like this. All of the unique internal components are correct including the #7 mag box, #5 ejector, properly placed bolt collar stop, etc.
S/N 72*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1947. The best you will ever see. Expedited shipping from Alaska is $75.
